TERMS & CONDITIONS - Positively Pregnant Hypnobirthing workshop 

 

IN PERSON / LIVE WORKSHOPS & CLASSES

Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total course is due on booking in order to reserve your place on either a private or group workshop date. The Remaining balance for your workshop will be due no later than 3 weeks prior to your workshop date if using a payment plan option. 

 

Participant Cancellation/Amendment

The balance fee will be repaid in full if your baby arrives before the course. This is the only circumstance under which a full refund will be made. 

 

The 50% deposit for your course is non-refundable in any other circumstances. 

 

The full fee is 100% due should you need to cancel or amend the course date that you are booked onto when less than 6 weeks before the course start.

Should you cancel your booking prior to the 6 week deadline, and you have already received your MP3 bundle (value £10) or your Online Workshop materials package (value £20) the costs of these materials will be deducted from your refund, along with your 50% deposit.

 

Where possible Positively Pregnant will endeavour to amend your course date if you absolutely need to change dates. Any date amendment will have a charge of £50. 

 

Cancellation due to a change in personal circumstances or a change of mind will not be accepted, and the balance will remain due in full. 

 

Cancelation by Positively Pregnant 

In the very unlikely circumstance in which Positively Pregnant is in a position where your workshop is unable to go ahead, your workshop will in the first instance be re-arranged at your earliest convenience, or a full and prompt reimbursement will be made within 30 days of your Workshop date. 

 

In the event that your ‘In Person’ workshop needs to be changed to a virtual/ video workshop due to Health and Safety reasons, or due to the Covid19 Pandemic, you will be given this opportunity in the first instance.

 

If you choose not to accept this virtual option for your workshop, a refund minus your non-refundable deposit will be made within 30 days of your Workshop date.

The Positively Pregnant Video Class

Returns Policy

​

You have 14 calendar days to cancel and return your Online course from the date you received your access link. To be eligible for a return, youmust not have accessed/ watched more than 1 learning video class. Your Course needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. 

 

Refunds

 

Once we receive your return, we will notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the progress of your learning/ access to the course . If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

Contact etiquette for Gold & Silver Video Class members

By embarking on the Video Class and agreeing to these package terms understood that:

• Jessica is unable to offer any medical advice - this must be taken from your midwife, consultant or healthcare provider. 

• We are to be respectful of contact times (as above) and frequency - remembering that Jessica is also caring for a young family. 

• Contact is strictly for the purpose of asking questions relating to course content (including hypnnobirthing, birth partners, birth plans etc), 'signposting' to appropriate evidence or research pertaining to pregnancy and birth choices. This is not a service for emotional support or medical advice.

Silver & Gold Packages 

​

As part of your access to the Video Class - you have the opportunity to communicate with founder Jessica Ord via the following mediums for SILVER package:

It is understood that this service is not an 'instant' message response - but that Jessica will respond in full at the first opportune moment. Jessica's hours of work/ contact are: 

Monday - Friday 09:30 - 17:000 

Weekends - 11:00 - 16:00

Where possible Jessica may respond outside of these hours, but it is not to be expected.

GOLD package contact: 

Includes all of the above, plus a 2 hour virtual (or in person if possible) contact session with Jessica via Zoom or Facetime. This session will be most useful if done once you have commenced your Video Course. Session date and time to be pre arranged at least 2 weeks before you wish to hold the session.

Intellectual property

Any Video, recording or written material included as part of aqny Positively Pregnant Class and all rights worldwide (including Intellectual Property Rights) relating thereto respectively are the sole property of Jessica Ord, Positively Pregnant, or others from whom such rights may be derived (whether or not protected by trademark and copyright laws) and may not be used other than for the personal use of the participant without obtaining prior written permission. The participant agrees not to record the course or any part thereof. The participant also agrees that, from time to time, Positively Pregnant may Photograph or record the course for sales, marketing, promotional or quality control purposes. By attending the event, the participant consents to being filmed or recorded for the duration of the event. 

 

GDPR

The participant also agrees that Positively Pregnant shall hold your details on file and on computer and, in accordance with the GDPR Act 2018, you have the right to view, amend or delete your individual file by giving not less than seven days' written notice. We treat your personal data with the utmost care and keep only relevant information to process your booking . We will not sell or give your information to any 3rd party. Participation in Hypnobirthing classes in any part or in total by any person or third party is undertaken with the understanding by any persons or third party that no litigtion or legal action whatsoever will be initiated or that no form of compensation or reimbursement or refund will be claimed or applied for at any time now or in the future against Jessica Ord, Positively Pregnant, its instructors, or its representatives under any circumstances whatsoever.

 

Agreement

Any booking of a Hypnobirthing class assumes full and informed compliance to and agreement with all of these terms and conditions of sale. In the event of a dispute, English law pertains.
