3 Step Rewind - Birth Trauma Resolution
Sometimes, it hits you out of nowhere...
Maybe it’s been weeks. Maybe it’s been years.
Maybe you're pregnant again and finding yourself filled with unease when you think about birth.
Maybe things feel mostly fine - until they're suddenly not. A certain smell, a sound, a passing comment... and you're right back there.
You’re not broken. You're not overreacting.
Your body and nervous system remember what happened, even if your mind is doing its best to move on.
If you're finding it hard to be present, to relax, to feel excited about the future, this is for you.
Whether your birth experience left you feeling unheard, afraid, disrespected or disconnected - it’s possible to gently release its emotional hold.
You deserve to feel at peace again. To rewrite the story your body holds onto.
What is 3 Step Rewind Therapy?
3 Step Rewind is a gentle, powerful technique designed to ease the emotional weight of difficult or traumatic experiences around pregnancy, birth, miscarriage, termination or postnatal recovery.
This process blends deep relaxation, guided visualisation, and specialised trauma release methods rooted in hypnotherapy and neurological science.
Unlike traditional counselling, it doesn’t require you to relive the trauma in detail, instead, it helps you to safely revisit and reframe the memory in a way that loosens its emotional grip.
Available in-person at my peaceful studio in Northumberland, or online via Zoom - so whether you’re local or based elsewhere in the North East, we can work together.
What the process looks like...

Session One – Telling Your Story (90 mins)
A calm and compassionate space for you to talk, cry, pause, or share in whatever way feels right.
We’ll explore how your experience is showing up in day-to-day life, and gently prepare your nervous system with a long, relaxing hypnotherapy session.

Session Two – The Rewind
(60 mins)
Using a deeply relaxed, hypnotic state, we’ll walk through the memory in a safe and structured way, free from overwhelm.
You’ll be carefully guided to visualise a future where you feel calm, capable and well - often a deeply moving shift.
You'll leave feeling lighter, one step closer to that future.

Session Three – Integration
(30 mins)
Roughly 10–14 days later, we’ll check in, reflect, and consolidate any shifts.
This session ensures lasting integration and gives space for anything new that may arise.

Hi, I'm Jessica, your Guide in healing...
I’m a clinical hypnotherapist, women’s wellbeing practitioner and experienced birth doula, based in Northumberland and supporting women across the North East of England.
Over the past 8 years I’ve walked alongside many mothers through pregnancy, loss, birth and beyond, holding space for their stories, and helping them reconnect with their power.
My approach weaves together the science of hypnosis and brain-based healing, with gentle tools like reiki energy work, aromatherapy, and intuitive guidance.
Whether you visit me at my studio in the rolling Northumberland countryside, or connect with me online from the comfort of your own home, this work is for you.
“I never thought I’d use the word ‘empowering’ to describe birth – but this time, I did. It changed everything.”
“The 3 Step Rewind was BONKERS... in the best way! No flashbacks, no fear… even as the contractions started.”
“Thanks to your support, we got to enjoy this birth. I felt strong, connected, and truly supported – something I never thought possible after our first experience.”
